Company History
Melvin
Norman was a writer for the U.S. State Department for over twenty
years. He saved and invested wisely, accumulating a fortune of over $1
million. Upon the death of his surviving spouse Pierrette in
1998, his son Gustav invested his inheritance in an independent
publishing venture called Word Craft Publishing, with offices
established in Washington DC. The inaugural project for the company was
to produce and promote the 2005 release, the Pocket Dictionary of Ethnic Foods.
